Walking into a new church can be intimidating and at times terrifying depending on your previous church experience. If you are considering attending one of our worship gatherings, we pray that you would take the vulnerable step and come check it out! We can't fully describe what you will experience, but at least we can try to give you an idea of what to expect.
On a Sunday morning you might see some people in a suit and tie or wearing a dress, while others are wearing t-shirts and shorts, and a lot of in between. We believe that God doesn't expect us to be something that we aren't when we come to worship, so we say, come as you are! (Really!)
Our simple and comfortable worship setting creates an intimate environment where good fellowship and engaging worship are always possible. We enjoy a traditional style of worship, which features a mixture of familiar traditional hymns along with some new songs to keep things fresh, and we make good use of multi-media and a big screen to keep folks engaged in the worship experience.
Rev. Glen Shedlock always brings a message that challenges us to practice our Christian faith in ways that reflect the heart and ministry of Jesus. He consistently reminds us that Jesus calls us to be God's loving presence in the world. Not much sleeping goes on during Rev. Glen's messages, although he says it's okay if it does because the soul is always listening.
